Views - Connection Tab
The Connection tab contains information regarding how to access the database.
| Connection Profile | This is the connection profile to use for this view. See the Connection Profiles Tab section for more information on connection profiles. |

| Open as snapshot |
The Open as snapshot option creates an editable, joined-table view.
ODBC does not allow dynasets on joined views.
Opening the view as a snapshot ensures that the view will not automatically update, but rather wait for a request.
If this selection is not active and the view incorporates multiple tables, the view will be read-only by default.
Note for Oracle users: If a join produces unique records from the primary keys,
Oracle will accept the join. If not, the view will fail.

| Max offline records | Enter the maximum number of records allowed offline. 0 (or less) is treated as unlimited. |
| Default permissions |
The Default permissions define the type of actions that can be performed while
accessing the view for all users and groups. These permissions may be overridden
for specific users and groups in the View Permissions section.
