Connecting to the DataSplice Server
To configure items in the DataSplice Server, you first need to connect to it with the Administration Client.
To connect to the DataSplice Server with the Administration Client:
- Click Start > Programs > DataSplice > Administration Client.
- When the Administration Client window opens, click File > Connect.
- You will see the Connection Options dialog box:
- Enter the default initial user name of
Admin. - Enter the default initial password of
changethis. - Enter the correct server address (if this is the same computer that the DataSplice Server is running on, this will be
127.0.0.1). - Click Connect.
- Upon initial login, you will be presented with the Change Password dialog box:
- Enter and confirm your new password and click Change.
