Testing Available Views
To ensure that your connection profile is working correctly, you can preview the data that is coming through to DataSplice. This allows you to test the available DataSplice views.
To test the available DataSplice views:
- Select the Views item in the left pane.
- In the right pane, select a view of interest from the list of available views.
- Select the Preview tab:
You should see data from the database. Otherwise, an error message should be displayed to help you identify why the DataSplice Server was not able to display the appropriate data. This error will need to be corrected in order for the views to function properly.
