Upgrading Mobile Devices with Windmill
If you have the Windmill provisioning service, this greatly simplifies the upgrade process for mobile devices. Once the DataSplice Server portion has been upgraded, contact us at datasplice@datasplice.com and notify us that it has been completed and you are ready for your Windmill service to be upgraded to the same version.
At that time, we will upgrade your Windmill profile to match the new version. After your Windmill profile is upgraded, you can connect with Windmill via an Internet connection to automatically identify the new version. You can then simply follow the Windmill prompts to download and install the new software packages.
