Using the Windmill Client
Once the Windmill Client is successfully installed, you can use the program to install and/or update DataSplice and other software packages on the mobile device.
While Windmill should automatically detect and notify you of updated packages, you can manually run Windmill at any time to check for further updates, download new packages, or repair existing ones. If an update to Windmill itself is available, it will appear in the update list and can be installed in the same way as any other package. To manually launch the Windmill Client, tap Start > Programs. Then select the Windmill Client icon

Set Server
If you have just finished installing the Windmill Client for the first time, you will immediately be taken to the Set Server screen. If you manually launched the Windmill Client, tap File > Set Server to get to this screen. Here, you will be prompted to enter your server address, Windmill group, and password in the corresponding fields. Windmill uses this authentication information to provide you with access to the specific software packages that you need. The Server Address field should automatically be filled in with the correct address of http://windmill.datasplice.com/Windmill. You will need to enter your appropriate Windmill group and password information. If you do not know this information, please contact us at datasplice@datasplice.com.
Available Packages
After successful authentication, you will see a list of software packages that are available for download. Place a check by the package(s) you wish to download and install. By default, all of the packages listed should already have a check next to them for download. Tap the OK button to continue with the download and installation of the selected packages.
Package Installation in Progress
As the selected packages are being downloaded and installed, you will see a progress bar and some textual information regarding the components being installed.
Package Installation Complete
You will be notified when the selected packages have finished being downloaded and installed. Tap the Close button to exit the screen.
Installed Packages
You should now see a screen with a list of successfully installed packages. To exit the Windmill Client, tap File > Exit from the menu at the bottom of the screen.
