MAXIMO 5.x Integration Plug-in 2.x
The ability to communicate with a MAXIMO® system is provided by the DataSplice MAXIMO® integration plug-in, which is a separately-installed component. This section deals with version 2.x of the integration plug-in in the Administration Client. For information regarding the installation and initial configuration of the integration plug-in version 2.x, please see the DataSplice MAXIMO® 5.x integration plug-in 2.x manual. For information about version 4.x of the integration plug-in in the Administration Client, please see the MAXIMO® 5.x/6.x integration plug-in 4.x section of this manual.
Field Mappings
The DataSplice MAXIMO® 5.x integration plug-in 2.x uses field mappings to correctly tie the field name of a DataSplice view to the corresponding table and column name in the MAXIMO® system. This is critical to ensure that the data is being taken from the correct field in the DataSplice Remote Client and updated in the correct table and column in the MAXIMO® system. A default set of mappings is included with the initial plug-in installation.
