DataSplice 2.3.x
In DataSplice 2.3.x, users could reside in groups. While users could belong to multiple groups, this was the limit of the available group assignment.
DataSplice 3.0.x
To provide even more powerful user management options, DataSplice 3.0.x supports the ability of groups to be members of other groups. Thus, users can be members of groups, which can in turn be members of other groups. In this manner, further group classification can be created for institutions where very complicated user management structures are in place.
