Installing the DataSplice Add-on Package for SQL Server
To install the DataSplice add-on package for MAXIMO® 4.x on SQL Server, first obtain the DataSplice3_Max4x_SqlServer_AddOn.zip file. This file can be found by logging in to http://www.datasplice.com. Upon successful login, the customer downloads page is displayed, with the list of available files. The file of interest is titled as DataSplice 3.0 MAXIMO 4.x Add-on Package for SQL Server.
Once the file is downloaded, unzip it to reveal the following two folders:
Storage- Contains the views for this package.Scripts- Contains the corresponding scripts for this package.
The use of these two folders is described in detail in the following two steps that are required to successfully install the add-on package:
