Equipment Meters
Description
Equipment Meters is a view designed to provide an efficient means of displaying and setting current meter readings for the piece of equipment in question.
Fields
Below is a listing of the fields included in this view.
| Field Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Equipment | The unique identifier for a piece of equipment in the system. |
| Description | The description of the piece of equipment. |
| Label | Description of the piece of equipment in question. |
| Unit | Unit of measure for this reading. |
| Current Reading | Last reading taken. |
| Reading Date | The date of the last reading. |
| Average Meter Unit | The average of the previous readings taken. |
| New Reading | Reading entered by the user. |
| Meter Name | Name of the meter in question. |
| Meter Number | Unique identifier of the meter. |
| Rollover | Set when the meter should rollover. |
| Rollover Amount | Amount the meter should rollover |
Using the View
Equipment View List
To access the Equipment Meters screen, double tap on the name with the stylus, or select the name and hit the Enter key.
Searching for Records
The Equipment Meters screen initially displays a pre-defined filter for record searches. Key in, or scan, the desired values to search on the hit the Enter key.
Display Modes
Optionally, you can tap on either of the display mode toolbar buttons:
- Display results in grid mode.
- Display results in single record mode.

Editing Fields
There are six editable fields on this screen:
- Mtr 1 New Read - The new reading for Meter 1.
- Mtr 1 Read Date - Optional date value for the time the reading was taken. If left blank, this will default to the system time.
- Mtr 1 Rollover - If the meter has rolled over so the new reading is less than the last reading, you need to enter the rollover amount.
- Mtr 2 New Read - The new reading for Meter 2.
- Mtr 2 Read Date - Optional date value for the time the reading was taken. If left blank, this will default to the system time.
- Mtr 2 Rollover - If the meter has rolled over so the new reading is less than the last reading, you need to enter the rollover amount.
