Work Order Long Description
Description
Work Order Long Description is a view designed to provide an efficient means of displaying and updating long descriptions for work orders.
Fields
Below is a listing of the fields included in this view.
| Field Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Work Order | The current work order number of interest. |
| Existing Description | The existing description of the work order in question. |
| Long Description | The new description to append to the existing description. |
Using the View
Using the Work Order Tracking view navigation, select the View Long Description option.
There is one editable field on this screen:
- Long Description
Adding a Long Description
- Tap the Create New Record button
. - Enter a long descripion in the Long Description field.
- Tap the Commit Changes button
to save the long description.
Editing an Existing Long Description
- Select the Long Description field.
- Edit the long description as desired.
- Tap the Commit Changes button to save the newly-edited long description.
Associated Navigation Options
- Work Order Tracking - WO: [Work Order#] - Navigates back to the Work Order Tracking view for the specified work order.
