Asset Status

Description

Asset Status is a view designed to provide an efficient means of reporting equipment downtime for a selected work order.

Fields

Below is a listing of the fields included in this view.

Field Name Description
Asset Number The equipment number.
Change Date Date and time of change.
Downtime Hours of downtime.
Operational? Was the equipment operational? Yes or No, Yes = Checked
Code Downtime code (ADJUST, BRKDOWN, MINRSTOP, etc...)
Changed By Labor code of person reporting downtime.
Remove Sequence The sequence in which the locks are removed.

Using the View

Asset Downtime

Using the Work Orders view navigation, select the Asset Downtime option. The user will be navigated to the Asset Status screen based on the selected asset/equipment number.

Note: Navigation links are based on user permissions. Some of the links may not appear on your screen. Also, if the work order does not have an associated asset, this link will not be visible.

Create the Record

To report the downtime:

  1. Click on the "Create New Record" button .
  2. In the Downtime value cell, enter the downtime (in hours).
  3. If asset was operational, check the Operational? checkbox.
  4. In the Code dropdown list, select the correct downtime code.

Navigation Associated With the View

Using the Asset Status view navigation, select the Work Orders option. The user will be navigated back to the work order.
