Equipment Specifications / Asset Specifications
Description
Equipment (5.x)/Asset (6.x) Specifications is a view designed to provide an efficient means of displaying and updating equipment specifications.
Fields
Below is a listing of the fields included in this view.
| Field Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Attribute | The attribute in question associated with a piece of equipment. |
| Description | Description of the piece of equipment in question. |
| Value | Numeric or ALN value associated with this attribute. |
| Asset Number | Equipment/Asset ID value |
Using the View
Equipment View List
To access the Equipment Specifications (5.x) or Asset Specifications (6.x) screen, select Equipment/Asset Specifications in the Assets view’s navigation menu at the top of the grid.
Searching for Records
The Equipment/Asset Specifications screen initially displays the associated specification records for the selected asset.
Display Modes
Optionally, you can tap on either of the display mode toolbar buttons.
- Display results in data grid mode.
- Display results in single record mode.

Editing Fields
There is one editable fields on this screen:
- Value - The numeric or ALN value for the specification attribute.
To edit an attribute value, key in, or scan, the new value into the Value cell.
Return to Assets View
Use the Navigation menu, at the top of the grid, to return to the Assets screen. Select the Assets menu option.
