Failure Reporting
Description
Failure Reporting is a view designed to provide an efficient means of updating work order failure reports.
Fields
Below is a listing of the fields included in this view.
| Field Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Work Order | The work order number. |
| Failure Code | The failure code (class) for the equipment. |
| Problem | The problem code for the associated failure code (class). |
| Cause | The cause code for the associated problem. |
| Remedy | The remedy code for the associated cause. |
| Remarks | Any additional comments or failure remarks. |
Using the View
Failure Reporting
Using the Work Orders view navigation, select the View Failure Reporting option.
Note: Navigation links are based on user permissions. Some of the links may not appear on your screen.
Editing the Record
To perform the failure reporting for the selected work order:
- In the Failure Code dropdown list, select the correct failure code.
- In the Problem dropdown list, select the correct problem code.
- In the Cause dropdown list, select the correct cause code.
- In the Remedy dropdown list, select the correct remedy code.
- In the Remarks field, key in any remarks or desired comments.
Navigation Associated With the View
Using the Failure Reporting view navigation, select the Work Orders option. The user will be navigated back to the work order.
