Purpose

This manual details the usage and behavior of the DataSplice views included in the MAXIMO® enterprise solution. The enterprise solution encompasses modules for equipment, inventory, and work order tasks. Throughout this document, the different components of the Remote Client are showcased and explained in detail. As there are an unlimited number of possible views that can be configured, customized views are not covered in this manual. Rather, the views described within this manual pertain to those included with the standard enterprise package as provided by the DataSplice MAXIMO 5.x/6.x Integration Plug-in 4.x Manual.

For application usage details, this manual should be used in conjunction with the DataSplice Remote Client Manual.

Audience

This manual is intended for end-users of the DataSplice Remote Client application. While the application can run on Windows 32 desktop environments, any device-specific references and screenshots will refer to Windows Mobile (also called Pocket PC) devices.
