Work Order Tasks

Description

Work Order Tasks is a view designed to provide an efficient means of displaying and updating work order tasks.

Work Flow

Fields

Below is a listing of the fields included in this view.

Field Name Description
TaskID Task identifier (not the work order number).
Description A description of the work order.
Asset Number The equipment number.
Location The equipment location of the work order.
Status The status of the work order (such as APPR for Approved).
Inspector Labor code of person performing inspection.
Observation Notes and/or Comments.
Point Number Measurement Point Identifier.
Measurement The new measurement value.
Measure Date Date and time measurement was taken.
Target Start The targeted date and time for work to begin.
Target Comp The targeted date and time for work to end.
Lead The assigned craft for the work order.
Supervisor The supervisor for this work order.
Crew Crew ID assigned to task.
Failure Code Failure code (class) of task, if any.
Problem Code Problem code for associated failure code.
Work Location Location identifier.

Using the View

Work Order Tasks

Using the Work Orders view navigation, select the View Tasks option.

The Work Order Tasks screen initially displays the results in Single Record Mode.

Note: Navigation links are based on user permissions. Some of the links may not appear on your screen.

Display Modes

Optionally, you can tap on either of the display mode toolbar buttons:

  • Display Data Grid Icon - Display the results in data grid mode.
  • Display Single Record Mode Icon - Display the results in single record mode.

Editing Tasks

There are multiple editable fields on this screen:

  1. Inspector
  2. Status
  3. Measurement Value
  4. Measure Date
  5. Observation
  6. Lead
  7. Failure Code
  8. Problem Code

Navigation Associated With the View

At the top of the screen, there is a navigation menu named Work Order Tasks. Tap the down arrow to open the menu. You will see the available navigation / menu options in the list.

  • Planned Items & Services - Allows user to view and apply item, tool, and services. See the explanation of the Planned Items and Services view for more details.
  • View Planned Labor - Allows user to view planned labor records. See the explanation of the Planned Labor view for more details.
  • View Work History - A link to a view that allows the user to view Equipment work history.
