DataSplice Releases Mobile Integration Suite 3.0
Installing New Server Components
Once the previous version of DataSplice has been uninstalled, the new version can safely be installed by using the following steps.
- Obtain the
DataSplice-<version>.msifile, where<version>refers to the specific DataSplice version. - Double-click the installation file to launch the associated setup wizard.
- Follow the prompts to complete the installation. Be sure to install all of the components that were originally installed. Most server installations include all available components.
- For detailed information regarding the installation steps, please refer to the DataSplice installation manual.
- Repeat the steps above to install additional DataSplice components that are being upgraded, such as the DataSplice MAXIMO® integration plug-in. Each additional component will have its own installation file. For example, the DataSplice MAXIMO® integration plug-in has an installation file named
datasplice3_MAXIMO_plugin_<version>.msi, where<version>refers to the specific plug-in version.
