Uninstalling Existing Workstation Components

This step may not always be necessary, as versions that are very close together may successfully install over the existing installation. However, performing this uninstall ensures that any conflicting files will be taken care of before running the new installation.

To uninstall the existing DataSplice components, perform the following steps.

  • Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
  • Open Add/Remove Programs.
  • Locate and select the DataSplice 3.0 entry.
  • Click Change/Remove.
  • Follow the prompts to uninstall the program.
