In order to improve inventory controls and reduce overhead costs, DataSplice implemented a real time inventory solution. Our client created an electronic pick list to reference regular inventory items, and utilized a purchase order feature to create and fulfill customer orders and automatically send them to courier locations worldwide for receiving and pick up—all through a handheld device.

In addition, they were able to more effectively track issues, receipts and transfers of inventory, and streamline all key information directly to the CMMS. This eliminated the extensive paper trail used with prior inventory systems, as well as double entries and transcription errors. Now they can manage the same amount of inventory with less people.

Our user interface remains constant across many applications, making access to multiple databases and their information seamless to the end user.

Information displayed on the handheld can be easily customized to show the user the information they need, when they need it, in the order in which they need it.
