Course Focus

• Implement and/or convert to DataSplice 3.0
• Develop a mobile computing solution for an organization
• Create requirements documents and project plans
• Design and implement specific configurations for users, groups, views and navigation (workflow)
• Design and configure DataSplice to handle specific business processes and rules

Three-Day Program

Participants should have the following:

• Working knowledge of starting and editing Oracle or Microsoft SQL Sever database tables
• Basic understanding of SQL database query language (Select, Insert, Update statements) and how stored procedures operate
• Understanding of computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)and associated workflows
• 802.11b enabled laptop with Win NT SP6/2000,CMMS/EAM* MAXIMO® 4.1\5.x and\or 6.x (Oracle 8.05+ or SQL Server 7.0+)

Class Objectives

• To understand what DataSplice is, how it is built, and what it can do
• Learn about the underlying DataSplice architecture and technology
• Complete an advanced AdminUser training; including basic operation, advanced concepts for navigation, and MasterApp Add-on modules
• Discuss the DataSplice MAXIMO Add-On package
• To understand DataSplice Plug-In(s)
• Learn how to install DataSplice on a local system
• Discuss tools that are useful for implementing a DataSplice solution
