Mat

I asked on 5th August whether you support Windows CE >NET platform and you said DS is supported.

I am trying to get DS going on a Symbol MC3000 device with Windows CE .NET and I am down loading ARM PPC s/w and I get the following error message when I try tostart it up.

" cannot find 'Datasplice' ( or one of its components). make sure the path and filename are correct and that all the required libraries are available"

I also tried ARM PPC files and received the same message.

Question: Help!!! or do I need a different set of files for .NET?? If so could you send them to me please.

Regards

Peter

Try the HPC builds, the device probably does not have the Pocket PC shell (PPC).

If you still get an error, you're probably missing the MFC libraries. I'm not sure if we have those up for download anywhere. If the HPC builds don't work for you, post a reply and we'll get something set up.

Matt

Yes I tried the HPC build but ended up with the same error. Looks like it may be the MFC libraries ??? can they be down loaded or added into the dataslice directory or are they required in the WINDOWS directory???

They can be either in the DataSplice or the Windows directories. Do you have access to the files? If not I'll try to have someone at the office make them available online tomorrow (I'm travelling at the moment).

I am not sure what files to go looking for? If you can have someone send them to me it woul dbe appreciated.

If you know what files they are I could try and down load them from the internet.

The MC3000 device is CE .NET Version 4.20 just in case it is machine dependant.

Hello Peter,

A zip file has been included in your list of available download files when you log in to http://www.datasplice.com. The file is titled MFC Libraries. The zip file contains the two missing library files. Copy the two files into the DataSplice or Windows folder on the mobile device. That should resolve the error. If you are still having any problems, please let us know. Thank you.
