 • DSAdmin problem with View Criteria

Posted by mjohnson at 2005-02-02 12:04 PM

Colorado Springs Utility has discovered a problem in 2.3.9 with the Default Criteria of the Cycle Counts by ABC view. The filter setting for the "Date Due" field is being dropped by the Admin client. The criteria was initially set with filters on three fields, "Date Due" being the third. However, when they attempted to access this criteria to modify it, they found that "Date Due" was being dropped when they were trying to set it to filter against ${DS_CURRENT_TIME}. If they tried to manually re-add it to the field list of the criteria, they could pick the field and set the filter value and hit the OK button. However, when thet open the default filter again, "Date Due" had been dropped from the filter. I've attached the Cycle Counts by ABC and a supporting view.

This looks like it was introduced with the date formatting changes from the last version. The filter window is trying to format ${DS_CURRENT_TIME} as a date, which results in an empty string.

I don't see any way to work around this, but fixing it should not be that difficult.
