 • Status Change & PM Frequency Data

Posted by JimZampieri at 2004-11-15 09:52 AM

We use Maximo 4.0.3 with an oracle backend and datasplice client version 2.3.8.1. The problem we have found is with workorders that were generated via a PM record and have their status updated to "completed" using the datasplice client. When this sequence of events occurs and the PM record frequency is "time-based" and uses the "last completion date" to set the next due date for the PM record, a "next due date" is not being generated for that PM record. Normally, using the Maximo desktop client, when the work order status is changed to completed, the next due date is automatically generated for the PM record.

The Add-On Package has been updated to address this problem. If a workorder is completed that has an associated PM Number, then the Next Due Date for the PM is updated based on the "Use Target Start" flag and the PM Frequency Units ('DAYS', 'WEEKS', 'MONTHS', 'YEARS').
