IIS Directory Mapping

In order for IIS to be able to serve up the correct information and files, the directory structure on the server must be matched accordingly.

  • Paste the Windmill folder provided by DataSplice into a sub-folder of the IIS directory (generally within the C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ directory).
  • Ensure that IIS is serving the Windmill directory correctly.
    • Browse to the appropriate URL of this server and folder location. This is affected by the directory mappings set in IIS.
    • The Windmill welcome page should be displayed.
