Logging in to the Windmill Server
If the initial Windmill Client installation has just finished, the login screen will automatically be displayed. This screen is also known as the Set Server screen. If the Windmill Client was manually launched, click Packages > Set Server to display this login dialog box. This dialog prompts for the appropriate Windmill Server address, Windmill group, and password in the corresponding fields. The Windmill Client then uses this authentication information to attempt to login to the Windmill Server to gain access to the appropriate software packages. The Server Address field should automatically be filled in with the correct address of http://windmill.datasplice.com/Windmill. The appropriate Windmill group and password must be entered in the corresponding fields. Click OK to attempt to login with the specified credentials. Click Cancel to abort the login attempt. If this is the first time trying to login, this information will be blank. If the information has been entered previously, the Windmill Client will retain those credentials indefinitely, or until others are specified. If your Windmill group and password information is not known, please contact your DataSplice administrator.
